Boeing Delivers First Stetch Version of 787 DreamLiner

John McDermott of The Post and Courier reports that Boeing delivered its first 787-9, the stretch version of the DreamLiner, to Air New Zealand on Monday.  The “Dash-9” is made in Everett, WA, and is a larger version of the 787-8 that is made in N CHS.  The N CHS plant will begin making the Dash-9 in the Fall.
