Pigg at Ashley Landing Purchased By Faison

Charlotte-based Faison Enterprises doubled down on its prior $19.2M Ashley Landing purchase earlier this year, with now the purchase of the dark Piggly Wiggly at the triangle of Sam Rittenburg Boulevard, Old Towne Road and Sumar Streets.  Faison bought the dark box and more importantly its underlying 2.5 acres as part of its re-development of the 330,000SF retail center now anchored by Big Lots, Burlington Coat Factory and a free-standing Publix grocery store which will be renovated, along with the larger center over the next year.  A Starbucks and other tenants have already been announced.  Abigail Darlington has the story for The Post and Courier.
