Field and Stream Outdoor Sporting Goods Store Planned for N CHS

Field and Stream, the magazine turned retailer under the Dick’s Sporting Goods banner, wants to build a 50k SF store near Tanger Outlets and the airport in N CHS, in addition to the planned Dick’s underway in Mount Pleasant, and existing Dick’s at Citadel Mall and in Summerville.  Warren Wise has the story.

DSW To Join Dick’s and Nordstrom Rack in Mt. Pleasant

Columbus, OH-based Designer Shoe Warehouse, aka DSW, plans a 15k SF store and will join Dick’s Sporting Goods, Nordstrom Rack, and Kitchen & Company in the revamped former KMart in Mount Pleasant, Bowman Square that is planned to be open in Q3 2015.   Warren Wise of The Post and Courier has the update.

New Junior Anchor Announced for Bowman Center Retail Development

Kitchen & Company, an upscale cookware store, has announced it will join Dick’s Sporting Goods and Nordrstom Rack in a 125k SF retail center at the former KMart store at Bowman Road and US 17 in Mt Pleasant.  Most stores in the 6-unit chain are in the Northeast and the company is headquartered in Delaware; its nearest store is in Asheville, NC.  Abigail Darlington of The Post and Courier has the announcement.

Nordstrom Rack Confirms Mt. Pleasant Store

Abigail Darlington reports for The Post and Courier that Nordstrom Rack, the off-price apparel store, has confirmed it is opening its first CHS region store at Bowman Place, the name what will be a re-developed center where the dark KMart sits today.  Dick’s Sporting Goods will co-anchor the center that is being developed by Grove Property Fund.  Opening is scheduled for late 2015.  Nordstrom Rack will also deliver stores in Greenville and Columbia.
