A dark restaurant at 201 Coleman Blvd. in Mount Pleasant that once housed Sette VII will be leased for a new dining/bar establishment according to the owners and Warren Wise’s Post and Courier article.
Wok Box Fresh Asian Kitchen out of Vancouver will open its first CHS area restaurant in Azalea Square in Summerville in July and plans five more units over the next few years, including a store in N CHS by year end. Warren Wise of The Post and Courier has the announcement, along with another tenant (King Street Grille) out at Citadel Mall, a new mattress store in Summerville and a new Italian restaurant in West Ashley.
Mellow Mushroom announced it will open a 6,000-SF store at Centre Pointe in N CHS to take advantage of all the hungry retail shoppers and workers in N CHS and from the airport and Boeing, as well as pre- and post-event crowds at the N CHS Coliseum. The Post and Courier’s Hanna Raskin has the story.
Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe, the casual Greek dining concept from the Jim N Nicks folks in Birmingham, will open its second CHS location, this one at the former Locklear’s in Mt. Pleasant. Renovations are underway and the suburban location will open in September. Their first location is at 306 King St downtown. Abigail Darlington of The Post and Courier has the announcement.
